New Samsung Galaxy Pop is a 3G enabled phone with 3.14 inches TFT capacitive touch screen display and it is powered by the Android v2.2 (Froyo) operating system along with 600 MHz processor, the company said, adding that it has customised user interface called Touch Wiz and Swype text input method which enhances mobile communication on a whole to a new level.
The Samsung Galaxy Pop comes with internal memory of 160MB and has micro SD card slot which supports up to 32GB memory, 3.5 mm audio jack, DNSe sound enhancement, Accelerometer, 3.15 MP camera with Geo-tagging, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth with A2DP, FM radio, Digital compass and social networking support are some of the features of Samsung Galaxy Pop mobile phones.
The phone has Google Android operating system which means it is pre-loaded with various Google services like Google Search, Maps, Gmail, YouTube, Calendar, Google Talk and Picasa photo service. It has standard battery which is Li-Ion 1200 mAh and priced at Rs 16,250.
The other model with latest touch-screen phone is Samsung Galaxy S with changed looks and other features. Samsung Galaxy S uses Android v2.2 (Froyo) operating system, it said, adding that Galaxy S has 1GHz processor and 16GB internal memory only.
The Samsung Galaxy S has micro SD card slot which supports up to 32GB memory.
Accelerometer sensor, 3.5mm audio jack, 5 MP camera with Geo-tagging, touch focus, face and smile detection, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, FM radio, Digital compass and social networking support are other features of Samsung Galaxy S. It is priced at Rs 39,000.
